Albertina museum Schönbrunn Palace Café Central
*Albertina: This museum in the fi rst district of Vienna houses one of the largest and most important print rooms in the world, with approximately 65,000 drawings and 1 million old master prints. The museum displays more-modern graphic works, as well as impressionist and early 20th century art.

Austrian Parliament Building: This building, designed by Theofi l von Hansen, is home to the 2 houses of the Austrian Parliament. Guided tours give visitors insights into the day-to-day political work, historical details, and architectural features of the building.

Belvedere Palace and Museum: The historic building complex consists of 2 Baroque palaces, the Orangery, and the Palace Stables. Visitors can enjoy major artwork including works by Gustav Klimt, as well as the gardens and stunning water features.

Burgtheater: Europe’s second-oldest theater is one of the most important German-language

Hofburg: The former imperial palace and current residence and workplace of the president of Austria, located in the center of Vienna, offers a glimpse into the grandeur of the Habsburg dynasty. Attractions include 6 museums, the National Library, and the Imperial Apartments.

MuseumsQuartier, Leopold Museum: MuseumsQuartier, the eighth-largest cultural complex in the world, houses a variety of attractions including the Leopold Museum and the MUMOK (Museum of Modern Art Ludwig Foundation).

Rathaus: Vienna’s Town Hall, opened in 1883, serves as the seat of the mayor and the city council of Vienna. Guided tours are available for visitors interested in a closer look at the staterooms.

*Schönbrunn Palace: This 1441-room Baroque palace, a World Cultural Heritage site, is considered one of the most important architectural, cultural, and historical monuments in Austria. The palace was the former imperial summer residence, and is surrounded by gardens that include a maze and a labyrinth, as well as a separate Children’s Museum.

Stephansdom: St. Stephen’s Cathedral is also known as the mother church of the Roman
Catholic Archdiocese of Vienna. This early 14th century cathedral has survived many wars and stands as a symbol of Vienna’s freedom.

Bratislava: The capital city of Slovakia is approximately 35 miles from Vienna and is

*Danube River Cruises: Various options are available to cruise the Danube River, the
European Union’s longest river, stretching 1189 miles and passing through 4 capital cities.
Klosterneuburg: This town, home to the Klosterneuburg Monastery, is a popular tourist destination.
Stift Melk: This Benedictine abbey above the town of Melk contains the world’s largest
ecclesiastical library.
*Wachau: This scenic valley with landscape formed by the Danube River is a prominent tourist destination in lower Austria.
