Biography
Dr. Novak received his BA and MD degrees from Case Western Reserve University. He completed his ophthalmology and retinal training at the Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
Dr. Novak has been recognized by his peers as among the "Best Doctors in America" every year since 2011, and he has also been selected by Castle Connolly Medical, Ltd. as one of America's Top Doctors in ophthalmology, which was published in Cleveland Magazine in September 2015.
His principal areas of interest include retinal and vitreous surgery and the treatment of diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal tears and detachments. Dr. Novak also participates in ongoing research studies as a principal investigator and investigator.
