Biography
Lisa C. Olmos de Koo, MD, MBA is Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she is chief of the retina division and director of the retina fellowship program.
Previously, Dr. Olmos served as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Olmos received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Harvard University, her MBA from Rice University, and her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. Her residency and vitreoretinal fellowship training took place at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami, followed by a year-long term as Chief Resident, Clinical Instructor, and Co-Director of Ocular Trauma at Bascom Palmer.
