Biography
Dr. Adeniran is originally from Pickerington, OH where she was raised with her two brothers and sister. She completed her Bachelors of Science with Honors in Neuroscience at Davidson College in North Carolina before starting the combined M.D./Ph.D. program at University of Louisville (UofL) in 2005. She completed the 2 degrees by 2012 then headed to Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati for her internship in General Surgery. She then returned to Louisville to complete the Ophthalmology residency program at UofL and stayed on for her fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery and Uveitis in 2016.
She has published original research, review articles and book chapters in the retina field. She maintains a strong interest in clinical research and teaching. She has 2 children with her husband who is a dentist.
