About the Society:
The International Retinal Imaging Society was created to facilitate the advancement of knowledge and science and innovation in the field of retinal imaging by integrating basic science, clinical medicine, and industry, and will aim to provide an infrastructure and platform to coordinate collaboration and exchange by those interested in retinal imaging.
Event Description:
The International Retinal Imaging Symposium (IntRIS) 2021 is the annual scientific meeting for the International Retinal Imaging Society and will feature an entirely virtual format this year. Over 50 abstracts were submitted by IntRIS members and the 2021 program will include a diverse spectrum of scientific talks on the newest innovations in retinal imaging. The dynamic program will feature sessions on artificial intelligence, technological innovations, and pathoanatomical breakthroughs. Various novel imaging systems will be covered including en face and peripheral OCT, OCT angiography, confocal resonance imaging, quantitative autofluorescence, and fluorescence lifetime imaging.
We are also very excited to present both the 2020 and 2021 recipients of the Lawrence A Yannuzzi award for significant scientific accomplishments in the field of retinal imaging. Both recipients will deliver a lectureship in recognition of this distinguished award.
Participants and registrants for the IntRIS 2021 program will learn about the newest retinal imaging technologies and will gain knowledge and insight in the application of these advanced systems and in the interpretation of novel and challenging imaging findings in a wide spectrum of retinal diseases including non-neovascular and neovascular age related macular degeneration and retinal vascular disorders and many other retinal conditions. This will help our participants better manage their patients with macular and retinal disorders and achieve better patient outcomes in their practices.
We welcome your participation at IntRIS 2021 which promises to provide insight and understanding in retinal imaging and showcase the integral importance of innovative retinal imaging in the evaluation and management of retinal disease.
