All ASRS members are invited to participate in this webinar series hosted by the Women in Retina (WinR) Section's Clinical Trials Incubator - an extension of the ASRS WinR Mentorship Program. Only one registration is needed to participate in any of/all of the 2024-2025 sessions.

Speaker: Christina M. Connors, CCRA, CQA; Senior Manager, Clinical Quality Assurance, Bausch + Lomb
Christina has been dedicated to GCP clinical quality roles in both pharmaceutical and medical device sectors since 2008 and has been in part of product development teams since 1999. Her experience spans prominent companies such as Wyeth/Pfizer, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics/Johnson & Johnson, and Bausch + Lomb, where she currently leads the Clinical Quality Assurance group as a Senior Manager.
Before transitioning to GCP clinical quality, Christina was instrumental in developing immunodiagnostic assays and managing verification and validation activities, including clinical studies for medical devices.
She is a Certified Quality Auditor through the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and holds a certification as a Clinical Research Associate from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). Christina has contributed to teams supporting Phase I-IV pharmaceutical studies and pivotal medical device studies across various therapeutic areas.
With extensive auditing experience, Christina has audited clinical study sites, GCP vendors (Quality Systems), and Trial Master Files. She has successfully hosted or supported numerous FDA BIMO inspections and served as a Subject Matter Expert for clinical-related Notified Body audits (NSAI, BSI, TUV) for MDR submissions.
Christina holds a BS in Biotechnology/Molecular Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY.
