Registration Policies
Who may register and attend
- Members in good standing of the American Society of Retina Specialists
- Physicians-in-training, physicians, and non-physicians who are approved by the ASRS Credentials Committee.
- Representatives of exhibiting companies and Corporate Membership Program (CMP) participants.
APPROVAL PROCESS FOR NON-MEMBER REGISTRATIONS:
Please note that all non-member registrations will be reviewed and approved by ASRS’s Credentials Committee. Please be sure to complete all of the requested fields regarding the name of your institution/employer, your role, proof of in-training status (if applicable), and detailed information regarding why you would like to attend the meeting. You will be notified once your registration request has been accepted so that you can proceed to make a payment and secure your space. All speakers and first authors (presenting authors) are required to pay an attendee fee and attend the meeting.
All exhibitors are required to register as corporate representatives. CMP members may also register as corporate representatives and are entitled to a certain number of complimentary badges based on their membership level.
Name Badges
Name badges are provided to all registered attendees of the ASRS Annual Meeting. Badges are not transferable and cannot be loaned to anyone for any purpose during the meeting. All attendees are requested to display their name badge during all official functions.
Attendee Fee and Cancellation/Refund Policy
The live meeting registration fee (regular and corporate) includes name badge, access to the mobile app* with live stream and recordings, paper and poster sessions, paper-on-demand offerings, film festival, exhibit hall tradeshow, refreshment breaks, daily lunch, and section events. Separate fees are required to attend the Opening and Closing Receptions. Only ASRS members are allowed to register guests.
The virtual meeting registration fee (regular and corporate) includes access to the mobile app* with live stream and recordings. Here you can also find paper and poster abstracts, paper-on-demand offerings, and films.
*The mobile app will be distributed to attendees approximately one week prior to the event.
Registration fees are fixed and cannot be broken for partial attendance of days or sessions.
Requests for refunds due to full cancellation must be made in writing and have been received by the ASRS headquarters office no later than June 29, 2025. A $125.00 administration fee will be applied to all cancellation refunds. No cancellation refunds will be given after June 29, 2025.
Requests to transfer from live to virtual registration (or vice versa) must be made in writing and have been received by the ASRS headquarters office no later than June 29, 2025. A $75.00 administration fee will be applied to all transfer fees. No refunds will be given after June 29, 2025.
No Soliciting by Non-Exhibitors Policy
The exhibits at an Event give Event attendees the opportunity to interact with representatives from the health care industry about their products and services in a professional atmosphere that is consistent with the educational mission of an Event. Event attendees are prohibited from advertising, marketing, sales, or soliciting business from other attendees or exhibitors in the in-person and/or online exhibits or through other online communication tools provided as part of an Event.
ASRS, in its discretion, may bar those who violate this Code from continued participation in or attendance at some or all ASRS events (live or virtual), without refund of any fees paid. ASRS may also in appropriate circumstance bar violators of this Code from participation or attendance at future ASRS-sponsored events.
Official Language
English is the official language for all scientific sessions of the ASRS Annual Meeting. Speakers must present in English with English text, slides, and audiovisual materials. All films submitted for the Film Festival must be narrated in English or have English subtitles.
