2022 MIPS Final Scores Released; Submit a Targeted Review of the Diabetes Cost Measure
This afternoon, CMS released final 2022 MIPS scores and 2024 payment adjustments. Previously, CMS released preview scores without the payment adjustment information.

The preview reports released earlier this summer attributed the diabetes episode-based cost measure to retina practices that report as groups. If your report includes a diabetes measure score, you can now initiate a targeted review in the CMS portal. Participants have until October 9, 2023 to submit a targeted review.
ASRS is working to have CMS exempt all retina specialists from this measure as the original specifications intended.
