Members Report Difficulties Obtaining Avastin
The ASRS has heard from members who are experiencing difficulty obtaining Avastin from Avella Specialty Pharmacy. The Society has been in contact with Avella and expects a statement from the pharmacy shortly. In the meantime, Pine Pharmaceuticals reports that they have been conducting 100% visual inspections and that their production has not been impacted. They are continuing to fill current customer orders. In addition, they are fielding inquiries and are trying to accommodate as many orders as possible to alleviate the current shortage.
